Homemade awning?

great thread btw.. i was thinking about this last night.. same goes for the other one and even the norge forum. sweet.

All the poles disconnect with the exception of the one out at the end, it rolls up with the awning.

I shaped wood dowels about 6" long and glued them in the ends. Then I installed eye hooks bent to accommodate the other poles.

There's a lot more detail in my trailer build thread in my sig..4th page I think
