Homemade propane grill?

I have a rickety Sunbeam grill I've been using for years but it is kind of flimsy and doesn't pack well in the jeep. I also have a couple of heavy duty steel boxes and military ammo containers sitting around. My plan is to transfer the guts of the sunbeam to one of these boxes. Ideally, I'll be able to fit the regulator, 2 bottles of LP and my barbeboss (lg. spatula) in the box. I'm also picturing removable legs. All this in a metal case that could double as a jack stand if necessary. :chowtime:

Anyone every made their own portable grill? If so, I'd love to see some pics. Anyway I going to start messing with this tonight, I'll post my progress.

It's a work in progress! Actually, it's torn apart all over my bench. I ran into a snag with the length of the burner.
