How do you secure your cargo?

I'm getting to the point in my trailer build that I'm starting to ponder the small things.

Eventually I think I want to have about 4 Versa Tie Track Systems mounted along the interior edges. Gear sorted by type secured in Pelican cases (Kitchen, Tent, Fireside, etc).

Let's see how you guys load and secure the gear in your trailers.

I built a couple of shelves and bulkheads, attached a variety of tie-down points.
Light things get bungees and heavy things get straps. Wolfpacks are for our clothes.
Everything goes in the same place each trip and is sorted by need.

I highly recommend the Core-Trax product, which you can get as a bundle through Costco that includes long as well as short bits, plus some straps. The nice beveled edges make it easy to slide stuff across them.

Here in the next few months....I'm going to looking at getting some slide 'n lock to secure my cargo in my trailer. This will keep all my stuff in one spot for sure!

At a trade show about a year ago I saw a track that looked something like the attached jpg. I've lost their contact info and not been able to turn up anything in searches or from contacting the folks whose booth they were in.

I like the simplicity of the design. Just one moving part with no springs involved.

Tacoma and now I'm going to use it on my trailer. We use it here at school
for our robotics program.
If you use the 1010 T-slot you get three sides to fasten things too.

For the budget builder there is Unistrut
It's fairly cheap, free if you scrounge construction sites or know an electrician. It's available at any of the big hardware stores.
There are also a ton of different pieces of hardware that are designed to work with it.

I added a couple of pieces to the tub on my FJ40 to secure gear. I just hook bungee netting to it, ratchet straps for heavy stuff.

I use these to secure the camp kitchen in my Jeep. Very similar to what has been posted, but with a single base. The base of mine are hard anodized aluminum, and they came with grade 8 hardware that goes through the wood platform, and the steel floor of my Jeep. The tie downs are rated for 4000 lb vertical pull. A little over kill for most things, but its nice to know they arent going anywhere.

But for securing loads inside the trailer, I really want to go with some sort of track system. I'm pretty sure that as my trailer evolves, the interior space will be rearranged about a trillion times once I have aux electrical power, a fridge, a shower, a water tank, etc, etc.

SAR: I just used what was available at the hardware store. But it is handy to
have their flat nuts that slide into the slots, then you can use the small eye bolts and just cut them short throw a washer on and thread it into their flat nut.
If you looked at their web site this stuff is awesome for buildiing frames.

Those rings from the other system would work with the 8020.
But my favorite use was as brackets for my thule raingutter racks,
also in the thread I referenced before.

Check out the pics in this section, all parts not bought like the rims for the tires
on the robot are designed by my students in Drafting and machined by the students in
Machine Tech. Forgot to mention I am a drafting instructor at a vocational high school.
