Mine stays on 24/7, so I never had to install it, the dealer did.
It has been on since March of 2008.
What they used was those metal stands that are about 4' long by 2' high, and each installer took a side.
That may work out for you and your wife, unless you go with the hoist system below.
Finally threw some Meguiars number 50 Marine-RV Cleaner Wax on it a few weeks back, and it looks better than new.
I do not think it came waxed from the factory.
Opened it up a few weeks back as it was exposed all winter long to ice, snow, and tons of PNW rain, and it was bone dry inside with no musty smell.
I was very impressed.
If I had a house with a garage tall enough, I would have one of those hoists made for lifting on/off roof top tents.
