How long did you wait until you received your call sign

I took my tech exam 8 days ago and nothing is showing up. I've search on the fcc site and arrl. The arrl site looks as if it's updated every 7 days on Sundays. Either way, nothing is showing up and I thought I was told I'd have a call sign in about 3 days. I have an email into the VEC's to double check all my information was keyed in correctly.

One of the locals took his last Sunday and it showed up in the database on Friday. Keep in mind Thursday was a fed holiday. Also it depends on the VE group, how fast they process. If you dont see it in a couple of days I would check with the VE group

I was told the same but it took more than two weeks. Why I don't know.

Mine took about a week and a half for it to show up online about 2 weeks for the actual paper to arrive.

I passed the tech test Saturday the 13th. VE's said look online this Thursday. They said the paper copy might take a month. A local VE said check this University of Arkansas site;

I took my test on a Saturday and received my call sign the following Tuesday (Dec. '03).

I got my callsign today. Tested last Saturday.

Took 2 weeks after the test to show up on the database.Then a couple of weeks to get the actual ticket in the mail.

I checked ARRL and University of Arkansas callsign lookup and did not find my new callsign. I went

to the FCC site and found it. I'd check the FCC site first.

FCC is the site that matters. All the other sites get their info from the fcc. The other sites usually update about once a week.

mine took just a bit over two weeks. once i saw it on the lookup at arrl, it took another few days for the actual paper license to arrive in the mail.

I received my callsign about one week after I took the test. Friends who tested at another location had to wait about 2 weeks.

I think the turnaround time depends not only upon FCC processing time, but also upon how much time it takes the testing facility to submit the results.

I called the contact for the club I tested with. He said he mailed everything in the day I tested and I had to wait. Ten minutes later he called saying he found it stuck to another paper in his kitchen and was never mailed in. He's mailing it today . Lame.

I guess I know what club i won't be joining.
