How to post iPhone pictures?

I've been noting that a few people are posting photos directly to the forum using their iPhone. How are you doing this?

Press the two buttons on the phone (the one on bottom front and the one on the top right) at the same time and the phone will take a screenshot of itself and save the picture in your Photos gallery.

EDIT: now that I'm re-reading your post, I'm thinking that wasn't what you were asking, or was it?

No, I'm wondering how people get the photos from the phone to the forum.

not sure how people get it directly to the forum, but most picture hosts (picasa, flickr, etc) have a way for you to email any picture to them and it automaticly posts in your albums (picasa for example calls it the drop-box album), then you can link to that picture easily in any forum.

Yes, I have a smugmug account and can do the same thing, but it seems like there might be a more direct way, but it eludes me.

post your pics in photo bucket. Then they have an embed link(myspaceish)

then its a direct link into the forum.

SmugMug has an App to upload iPhone camera images (actually, ANY images in your Cameraroll) to a designated gallery on Smug. Here is mine: http://nwoods.smugmug.com/IPhone-Gallery

I thought I read that you could build a macro into the i-phone to automatically load a pic to p-bucket, and have the /img tag copied and ready to paste into a forum post all in one process. It did not work with all forum software though.

I'll see if I can find where I read that...
