Howling Wolf Stargazer RTT 1.6m...SE Denver...$1500

Updated $1500

My wife and I bought this new 3 years ago and just aren't using it as much as we had hoped. We now go out with an off road popup trailer. This RTT has a total of 8 nights in it and is in near new condition, no rips, nothing broken, all parts are there. I've changed the mounting system because frankly, the one it came with sucked. Included will be the Yakima universal mighty mounts I am using. I'm pretty sure I am unwilling to ship it as it would have to be crated. So, I am willing to travel if need be and my schedule allows; meeting halfway to somewhere would also be cool.

What differentiates this tent from other RTT are the 2 ceiling windows so you can chill and watch the night sky go by.I will load some pictures in the next couple days of it mounted to my Jeep JKU, otherwise, you can google it to check it out meanwhile.

Here are some pictures. The rain fly looks floppy because I was too lazy to stage it.

That is a Howling Moon Stargazer (not wolf) and is a VERY nice RTT BTW, I consider Howling Moon products to be la creme de la creme, free bump for you.

How did you go about using the universal mighty mounts? I picked up a bunch of the Yakima universal "snaparounds" thinking I could use them to mount my RTT one day. Yours is the exact tent I've been looking for, too! If you weren't so far away I'd snatch this up in a second.

I went the local Ace Hardware because shopping for bolts is much easier there than the box stores. I found the bolt supplied was just a tad too big to work with the aluminum track and was pain to slide and adjust; I got new bolt which are much easier to slide in the tracks...Through some universal mighty mounts and easy as pie now...

SLC is about as far as I'd go west to meet up.

Hey MtnMedic -

I've been thinking about this some more. How far east would you go? Stargazers don't come up for sale used very often. If I can get my Jeep sold in time, that would finance the rest of this wedding, and get me and the copilot a sweet RTT for our honeymoon...

Thanks for the update,

Dan
