have had no time to put more photos here but for now I'm about finishing woodwork inside.
I've got sink and stove running, it's not a lot but makes me happy.

and finally decided what kind of roof lift mechanism I'm going for, it's going to by with some torsion springs that should compensate weight of the roof.

yes, on the film you can see me with my idea of the lift system, it's just to check how it works.

Great job on the build so far and looking forward to seeing it come together! The homebuilt bender that you made for the door looks like it worked perfectly. What model of Aluminum are you using 6061??? Looking to build a custom camper of my own and would like to make the frame out of Aluminum to hopefully save some weight and avoid any potential rot problems down the line! Keep up the good work!

Actually Polish is quite hard language to learn especially tu pronounce right. Pozdrów tatę
Ok so I have sheets powder coated, I cut some openings for doors wents etc.
Then all is glued and stapled to the frame.
I would say that it looks just ok, it's a pity because I expected the colour RAL9006 to look differently something more like aluminium rim but it looks more like ordinary gray.
I already did the camper jacks - went for the simplest version.

I'm not sure what hugh_h used (I would also be interested in hearing - I like to see how other people approach these projects), but when I rebuilt my Four-Wheel Camper, I used a flush trim router bit for all the edges & openings (one bit got through the whole project with no discernible wear) & a pneumatic narrow crown stapler (Bostich, IIRC). The thin aluminum sheet is very easy to work with.
When doing the sheets for siding I was quite lucky because I borrowed form my neighbour the bender with guillotine - he is a roofer (if its right word for the guy that makes roofs). I had to pay for this stuff doing some parts for him on the lathe any way it was worth it.
As an option on the bender you can install roller shear for cutting sheets as bellow. It's mainly for typical roof steel sheet 0,6mm thick but mine 1mm aluminium goes well as it's softer.
that is off course for straight cutting
For openings or curved cuts I've used makita sheet metal shears as you can see them on previous post.
Stapler is just the cheapest one I found used, pneumatic. I've used 12mm long staples as the longest that went through the sheet with no problem.
