I’m that guy

Storm blew through yesterday I was worried I would loose the whole thing so I built the center wall and installed it in the front temporarily. I put plastic on the roof to shield it some. It started raining almost as soon as I got the last of the tools picked up. I ran in and jumped in the shower got all soaped up and as I started rinsing off the power went out and it was out until 2:30am.

Today I just went at it and made a lot of progress.

Man I love these classic campers. Makes me sad to see them wrecked. But I understand the want of an AT also. You have done a great build! I enjoy this post!

Saturday folded my left thumb nail back ripping it loose from the nail bed, storms almost blow the camper over and the power is out for hours on end.

Sunday I shoved the drill through my right hand

Check out the flesh in that drill bit.

Wednesday and Thursday internet was out. I have had a bad run of luck this week but I still managed to get a few things done. I installed the wheel wells and I was finishing up framing the inner covers when I sent the drill through my finger. I went and ordered the siding, roof and vents yesterday.

I am a little irritated I was told the siding would be 7 to 10 days. I figured business days so calendar day 15 I called they said they would call back. Calendar day 16 I called back they said they would call back. Calendar day 17 they called back and said it would be ready calendar day 22. That is 15 business days! I paid in advance for all of the material, Am I out of line for asking/demanding 10% refund?

I put the wheels back on and checked ride height, I haven't done much but wait for a week.

I have a 20 foot pallet of siding and an uncovered trailer in my driveway with a storm coming in 2 days. I know alone it takes over 4 hours to put the plastic on and secure it like I had it before. I could waste the whole night putting the plastic on or I could see if I can get the roof and top row of siding on then just slip the side plastic on under the last row of siding I finish.
