So I have been lurking on here for a few years now. Studying up on what has and hasn't worked for you guys. Saving my pennies and watching for the right deal and I finally pulled the trigger. I found a 2000 shadow crusier pop up on cl for 3500. I took a look and it was mint. Canvas was perfect, no soft spots, no water stains. Has a 3 way fridge, clean interior and the jacks were strong with out any play. I did a little talking and got it on my truck for 2000. So Far I am very happy with the rig for the money and am in the process of making it my own.

So far I installed a deep cycle battery.
Have 4 15 watt goal zero panels to install
A goal zero charge controller for my battery
Tons of camping gear to find spots for

I am still looking for some roof racks, a ladder to access the top, and a small window ac to install in the rear window. Here are some pics of her. She is riding in the bed of my 2010 Silverado 2500 HD.

I worked with a guy that had a Shadow Cruiser on a Ford Ranger. Obviously a smaller model than yours. He hauled that thing all over Eastern Ore and Southern Idaho fishing, rock hounding and geocaching on a very regular basis. I hope yours serves you as well as his did/does.

I am sure I will. I am ordering up some retractable fishing poles so I can store them under the bed!

I came close to getting a SC years ago.
Here's what we've used for a ladder for 15 yrs:

Not cheap but made in Austria.(used to be anyway)
