Sweet! You'll just have to let me know when you guys go on the smaller ones. See if I have that weekend off, but we going back to normal shifts so as long as were not in an exercise i'll have Saturday morn- Monday afternoon off.

Shreveport, so a little bit of a drive. but based on your name your from La, no?

Nm, just saw Denton.

Correct. I am from Rapides Parish (Out in the boonies down by Alexandria). My wife and I graduated from Northwestern in Natchitoches. Now she is going to school at Texas Woman's University in Denton.

LaOutbackTrail= Louisiana Outback Trail--- a trail I was putting together to circle the state. I got from Leesville to Shreveport, about 170 miles, of off pavement route. I was never able to string together a route in the north or south because of A)lack of non-paved roads and B) gates.

You are at a pretty good spot to catch the stuff in Arkansas and OK.

Sounds good to me!

edit: Had to replace my engine due to the fact I hydrolocked it. Just got it to start for the first time today, didnt stay on but its probably just a vacuum line.
Anyways, i'll be itching to get out there with my runner again.

Oh yeah, I remember you now that I think about it. Would be cool to have you along for one of the next trips. Just keep an eye out on here and let us know since without a doubt they'll be a thread about it before it happens. :sombrero:

Seems like I oughta know you guys since you like to do the same stuff I do. For some reason I run with some guys that explore Utah, which is great, but I only get to go twice a year. I did a Jeep jamboree in Palo Duro many years ago, but that's my only experience with that area. I'm in Lewisville and have some land outside of Bowie, drive an 06 LJ Rubicon and can take as well as dish BS with the best of them. I'll subscribe to this thread and keep an eye on the goings on. Mike
