If you had to sell one?

...you have both, which would you sell?

1996 FZJ80
1999 UZJ100

And no, keeping both is not consistent with my current goal :O

I guess it depended the current state of each of them (ie build up, condition, etc) and what you'd want to use the remaining one for.

I would probably keep the 80 hands down. The only reason I would keep the 100 is if I drove a lot of miles daily or if the 80 has an insane amount of miles.

Personally, I would keep the one with fewer hard miles. In your case, I think I'd keep the 100 series since it's built mildly and you've maintained it very well. If it's a true expedition truck you want, then keep the 80, but I think the hundy will do most any trail short of Rubicon that you'll take it on. I've often looked at my truck and thought about it what it's worth. So sell it, take that money and beef up the other vehicle into something off highway worthy and be happy...

I agree with Pete - The 80 is a bit dated and it is also a good time to sell...

I know LandcruiserPhil sold his 80 and now drives the 100 exclusively - he has many good things to say about the advantages :)

Keep the 100 series. A built 100 series can go anywhere a built 80 series can, and get to the trails in comfort on the highway to boot. My opinion however.

spill the beans on the "new plan" :)

Well, I have been getting on the more serious side of a domestic full-size :) There was one I saw in CO last year that made me literally trip from my head turning; I'm fairly assured not to get worse mileage.

With winter nearly here the fam could easily survive with only 1 SUV (guilty gasp, eyes turned to the ground).

Get this though, the wife despite loving the rear-AC is actually more pro-80 than -100! Oh the delima, please continue with comments to help my situation.

depends on your planned use. daily driver, 100, more of an off road or rugged truck the 80... I personally like 80s more than 100s but they are both fine vehicles...
