HD Dana 44 front axle, closed knuckle, drum brakes.
Engine is a 2bbl, 304
Tranny is a T34, 5 spd Overdrive
Transfer case is a NP 20?
6 lug wheels
Tires/wheels are16.5" rims w/ 35x12.50 BF Good Wrench radials. 90% tread and a matching spare on rim.
Twin Saddle fuel tanks
Massive 8,000 lb Warn Winch(works perfect) in the tree mashing front bumper/ brushguard w/ 6" lights! (250lbs+)
Road Warrior rear bumber
This rig is friggn HUGE, COOL and says "Get out of the way!"
Makes me abit sick even thinkn about selln it ...but
$2800 and he's yours.
This is a project rig. The drive train is a runner, I guarantee it. Before I did the swap I cranked the engine, it fired and idled immediatly. I did a compression test, it's a mid life engine. Tranny shifted into all the gears smooth.
My plan was to drop in a Ford/ IH 6.9 diesel w/ C6 ,run 'em on cook'n oil .
The engine/ tranny is not connected to squat, I put it in the rig so I would quit tripp'n over it in my shop.
The axles are bolted in w/ new hardware and proper shims, thats it!
Basically you get a spare rig in parts too. All six doors, hood, 2 front fenders, dash w/ some new gauges and land rover seats w/4 pt harness. Radiator is the only piece missing to make the rig complete. They run about $100-150 for a good used one.
The Monster is actually a rare "Intern 140" 1966 Travelall Ambulance/ Rescue rig. He's rock solid and began life as an Ambulance for the Laughlin, Nevada Fire Dept.
This rig is factory extended 20 inches and the roof is raised 8 inches, 140" wheelbase. IT'S BIG! REAL BIG!
Spent it's whole life in the salt free SW. There's a few dings and scrapes but NO RUST other than light surface stuff that sands away pronto.
This WAS a 2 WD 1000 series originally. I bought a very cool '66 4x4 that had been wrecked (cab was tweaked), parked em side by side, both on jack stands and swapped the running gear. This made the rescue rig the Monster.
Bring cash and a trailer, a big one!
Sorry guys but I DO NOT need to trade for anything.
It's $2800 cash or I'll keep the rig, it's not costing me anything sitt'n here and I'm not starv'n.
I'll get back to it in a few years when I'm sick of sailing!
It's a great, solid, rust free, Cool Big Rig.
Clear Missouri title, $2800 cash, firm !
I have more pics !
Thanks Much...Kevin 816-332-0336
