I have the same BMC Apex-L setup and have a question about aiming. Did you have any trouble getting the XL80s adjusted enough to point towards the midline rather than way off to the sides? I have them setup the way BMC suggests and they are just way too far off towards the outsides. TBH, I wonder if the XL80s are “too bright” as well to be so low on the bumper. I’m debating getting some XL Sports and swapping them for the 80s and then putting the 80s in the a-pillar position.

The left one is a bit off, but I have yet to bother with trying to realign it. I have new surrounds to put on, so I'll mess with it then. They are insanely bright, but for how/where I employ them, they are exactly what I want.

I assume you run them as long-distance on-road lighting? That had been my primary intent. I guess I’ll keep messing with them. Did you need new surrounds for a specific fitment reason? They are super tight to the lights themselves I noticed.

I am talking about the frames for the lens on the lights themselves. Mine were a little chewed up from messing with them during fitment and installation. It's a super tight fit in there, as you know. I use them off-road at hunt camp and on very rural back roads. They are perfect for that use. The smaller lights are my fogs.

Gotcha. Yeah, the fit is super tight lol and the BD paint and anodization is pretty thin.

Anyhow, glad they’re working. TBH I haven’t taken them on a proper night drive so I probably should wait before replacing them and putting them on the a-pillars.

Regardless, nice truck and setup! I think your plan for a flatbed and canopy like many Australian setups would be amazing.

We shall see, still tossing around ideas. I won't make a move anytime soon, just starting to think ahead.

These SeaDoo BRP Black Edition decals are a nice touch—no more Chrome.
