Impact of Congress voting to sell Federal lands?

IIRC, the Parliamentarian did say the initial proposal could not be included. Lee "revised" and re-submitted, then pulled it. Don't know if the Parliamentarian ever made a judgement on the second attempt. I wonder how much land would have to be sold to offset the $3 Trillion addition to the deficit?

I’m sure you were equally outraged at every other time a bill under previous admins added to the deficit…

Yeah, that is a real concern. Once those lands are sold, they are gone for good, and it is not just about losing space for overlanding or hunting and fishing, it is about losing a piece of our shared heritage. Public land is one of the few things we all own together, and there is no getting it back once it is privatized. It is definitely worth paying attention to what is being proposed and speaking up before those decisions are made for us.
