my brother picked up a pair of those for the same use on his jimmy. for the price they are awesome, ill be getting a couple for my jeep here pretty soon

Getting a site up and running currently..if anyone's good with that kind of stuff then maybe we can work something out for free LEDs? Lol just trying to get the hang of it all!

i just got back from Albuquerque this evening. i will get some output pics tomorrow. the supplied connector is a pain to jump on a whim. but ill get some pics for ya'll!

Well - Credit should be given to BlitzPro for fixing their website in record time - the 6LZ compact light bar / roof rack light is now described as being "six 1 watt LEDs" and has a consumption listed as being 6 watts (although I measured 7 watts at 14VDC).

That output would make a horrible and unsafe foglight.

I use the small round light pods (those in the link under the pic) as fogs and LOVE them. My friends who I follow behind when caravanning have said they are very pleasant and they provide great light. Often times when we are out in the back country, if I am following a friend, I will turn my headlights off to not blind them and drive using my fogs only. They provide the perfect amount of light for this. Not sure why you think they would be horrible and unsafe from a pic (which is a very inconclusive way to judge lighting as it all depends on exposure). from my EXPERIENCE, so far, they are the best fogs I have ever had, and I hvae had several PIAA, etc..
