Instructor Jobs at landrover

My goodness, we are all very keen aren't we! Don't forget over here in the old country we have stopped for the weekend, back tomorrow (Monday) morning. Oh yes, we shall then stop again for elevenses and again for lunch. Bless me, it will then soon be time for afternoon tea and tiffin before going home at the end of a very gruelling day.....

Seriously chaps, hang on in there and good luck to you all! If I wasn't retired I would be applying as well. Eastnor Castle is 45 minutes away. I know a chap who was a serious nationally known and highly regarded off roader and hard a hard fight to get accepted at a time when LR policy was to only recruit from within their own ranks. So this now is one seriously good opportunity.

Good luck! Let's hear how you get on.

Regards,
Bob.

Yeah, I knew I wouldn't hear anything over the weekend.
I did have a reply from Gaydon waiting for me when I woke up this morning.
And yeah, CSRM was swamped with applications and are behind, but the deadline is, not surprisingly, being kept at 5pm today.

Other than never receiving the application, or any reply at all from the recruitment company, nope. I'm sure it's too soon though.

Boy this would be a great scam to run to fish for personal info from Land Rover folks...says my cynical Internet side...

I emailed the Land Rover Experience headquarters (finding the address on my own, not from the recruiter site) and they knew about the recruiting. So unless they are in on it I'm guessing it's legit.

Well, I know I didn't. LOL
Received a formula rejection email this morning. They probably googled my name and Land Rover and having never seen The Gods Must be Crazy, freaked out. :sombrero:
We thank you for applying for the position of Instructor with the Land Rover
Experience. The response to our advertisements was overwhelming with
hundreds of applications.

The standard was extremely high and whilst we were happy to train people who
didn't have all the necessary qualifications we found that a great many
applicants already had what we are looking for.

With that in mind, it is with great regret that we must inform you that we
are unable to take your application further.

We wish you good luck in seeking an alternative position and thank you for
taking an interest in the Land Rover Experience.

Sorry to hear that news, antichrist. Kudos at least to LR for sending a form letter -- not all companies do that these days.

Not a big deal really. Although I exceed the published character and technical qualifications I'm not even sure I can legally work in the UK, even though my wife is a citizen. I looked at it as more of an interesting exercise than expecting I'd actually get an interview, much less offered a job.
Although if pigs happened to be flying over the frozen lakes of hell on the day they read my application.....my wife does want to move back to the UK some day.

Hello,

As of yet I have not received a reply, I am sure you could work here. From the amount of unsavoury characters that are welcomed it would be easy.

You would of course have to pass the UK citizenship test............which I failed :Wow1:

Steve. Aged 42 UK born and bred :)

My wife is a British subject also (she is a Scot). We are looking at buying a small house in Northern Ireland and living there part of the year.
