Insurance help needed??

Sadly we fall in the gray- NC law says more than 4 vehicles sold/yr = dealer license. When applying, we have to affirm we sell 12+/yr and have a store front with receptionist/salesman 8hr/day. The real irony is DMV treats us as a dealer, without the benefits of course, like dealer tags providing liability...

That's crazy!

NC auto dealership laws are dated, they don't recognize the 'new' sales channel of the internet / buying and selling remotely. Personally, the last car I bought from a dealer in the traditional fashion was my Range Rover back in 2000.

It was a lot of work and a lot of hoops to jump through for us, but we're glad we did it.
