My quest for an Aussie/SA off road equivalent made and/or offered & supported here in the US at a reasonable price continues- with little luck.,

There is an Interesting article on MSN which includes @ 30 teardrop trailers many of which are off road types made in America that I have not heard of.

Though teardrops are en vogue, a bit pricey and not really my thing there were a couple that got my attention.

Interested in thoughts on these.

The Conqueror seems to be the standard for off the road, overlanding base camp. It is or appears to be double tough, yet at 50K for their top of the line it is still a tad short on amenities. Perhaps my expectation is too high because as a back country big game hunter- conservationist hunter, it would suit me fine. Yet it falls well short for most of my family members to enjoy.

Thoughts?

Incidentally the InTech RV Explore and Sol were very interesting. Yet both manufacturer's I found to be impressive.

What amenities are missing?

I'm just fine with my Taco and teardrop hitched and rolling down the road.

I suppose I could give you a list ,but gave my opinion based on my preference instead. Kind of like you did, right?
Chocolate and Vanilla as they say, huh?

Use google with the site: keyword and the brand you want to know more about

both here and at TNTTT.com for the smaller units.

e.g. https://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.expeditionportal.com/forum+InTech

Thank you sir. I posted the article because I found it interesting and more as reference for others like myself who are not as familiar with what is out there. My preference is not teardrop but the Off Road 12'-15' trailers like the Conqueror, though choices here in the US seem to be quite limited.
