I just got mine the other day... I have not put them on yet.

You really have to keep an eye on Costco, they have some good deals that dont last long.

I have been looking for some lights I could afford. If these are all they are cracked up to be then that is an absolutely amazing price.

Well for the price I do not think I can go wrong, I presently have the 520 ION and they throw alot of light in amber color, they were up there in the price and I wanted to add some lights to my ARB Rack, however I did not want to spend 500.00 dollars plus on lights, I had consider and bought a pair of hella 500 for a great price but I changed my mind and return them!

I just order these lights and I am thinking I should order another pair! hum!

I will wait and install these lights and will report back!

Well, that cats out of the bag ;) Thats a great deal from Costco

These are great lights, one of the more popular lights I sell (well, used to sell ;)). They come with a 55W bulb installed, but the include a 100W bulb in the kit. I've installed alot of them here in town, users are always pleased. They are a combo spot/flood, obviously an entry level light but one well-suited to general purpose use. Clear covers are available (probably not at Costco though?). Spare parts will continue to be available.

I'd jump on them while they last... :gunt:

That is a great deal, I bought mine for around 115 a pair. I've had between 2 and 4 IPF 968's on the front of my truck and they do a pretty decent job for small auxilary lights. The wiring harness included is probably the best part of the deal, very complete and high quality.

I also got some clear covers and tinted them with yellow stained glass spray paint. It really helped out to have a choice for better visability for snowy conditions.

You can buy the actual lights in an amber color, though I'm not sure Costco will ever have these available?

I like the idea of painting the clear covers.... so the stained glass spray paint you used has held up well? Pretty cool!

Do they make the chrome cover with the IPF logo?

If so how much per pair, usually when costco sells the item they do not give you options!

If you don't mind used, you can come up with decent deals at autojumbles.

Back when Hella Rallye 3000 lamps were available new for lots of money I picked up a pair of used ones for $60/pr then 2 years later picked up a second pair for $40/pr.

Snorkel.jpg

$100 worth of used auxiliary lights hanging from the underside of the roof rack. 2 Euro beam lamps in the centre and 2 fog lamps on the outside for a wide angle view of the terrain ahead.

I feel so enlightened

Nope no problem buying used. Currently trying to find used THULE parts. I just always forget to check local places for used stuff. Got to get in the habbit.

When you folks who have already ordered these get them in and installed, make sure to give a writeup/review! Looks like a pretty good deal.
I second this about a review. How do they compare to Hella 500 fog patterns? I like my Hella fogs, but one of the lenses took a massive ice chunk and is cracked. If these have a sorta fog pattern, might be an option. I don't want real driving light patterns, though.

I have the same lights on Stormy! I paid more but absolutely love them. Only problem I have is that my switch just died on me last week. Nice bright lights and easy install for sure.
