iPhone + DSLR Lenses?

Anyone else think this is cool? Accessories that allow Canon and Nikon DSLR lenses to be mounted to an iPhone. I'd give it a look.

Very cool.

However, a challenge for you app creators / doohickey creators: I'll drive off that bridge when I get to it, but after I actually get an iphone, I will need an app and adapter for my late '70s era bayonet mount Minolta lenses. They and my trusty old X-700 sit neglected in one of my cabinets while I use a cheapo (and now somewhat obsolete) digi camera. Sure wish I could put my old long lenses back to good use...

a fun little toy but not worth it for $250.. If I wanted to share an image that urgently, I'll just take a picture of my camera's LCD with the iphone..

I agree with ywen, a more useful feature would be the ability to link your phone and DSLR via bluetooth for a quick pic transfer if you want to email, post to FB, MMS a photo.

I agree, not worth the $250. By the time you lug your lenses, might as well carry the dSLR in which you will get full control of the lenses.

you can do that with a wireless grip on a canon (or tethered to a computer but thats not very convenient) and the app called DSLR remote

allows full control of the camera from the phone.

works with nikon, conon etc. but i only know about the canon stuff.
