IPOR built LC 200

I would like to say thank you to the guys that have shared their experiences with building their own overland / expedition style trucks. Between you guy's here and the guy's from the mud forum, all the information has helped get me headed in the right direction.

The truck I am building is intended for small scale overland style travels (Alaska, Canada, Pacific northwest and the southwest to name a few).

I picked-up my 09 LC 200 from Iron Pig Off Road (IPOR) on Friday, and let me say it was well worth the wait. The truck has performed great with the limited on-road (interstate & local) driving we have done so far. But I will have to wait till next week before I can start to checkout it's off-road capabilities at our Overland Experts course.

The guys at IPOR did a great job. Lance, Cam, Jack and Vince were extremely helpful with everything from parts selection to the explanation of the build process. We had one hick-up with the build, but the guys took care of it in a professional and timely manner. The first phase of the build included the following:
1. Icon coil-over shocks
2. Total Chaos upper control arms
3. Icon rear shocks
4. OME rear springs
5. Icon billet aluminum rear trailing arms
6. ARB bumper
7. Warn M12,000 winch
8. Master pull Super-line XD 125’ 3/8” rope
9. IPF lights
10. Slee sliders (painted)
11. BF Goodrich AT/KO 285/65/18
12. Painted front grill

I would highly recommend the IPOR team for anyone that's looking at getting a LC 200 built. As a matter of fact, I will have them start the second phase of my build at the end of June. The second phase will start with:
1. ARB aluminum roof rack
2. ARB rear bumper with tire & gas can carrier
3. ARB compressor
4. IPOR skid plates
5. Dual batteries

Sweet Cruiser! No hijack intended but they do pretty good work on Tacoma's too! Note Lance making sure the driver takes the right line -- talk about support after the sale!

rosco,

The weight has increased with the addition of the bumper/winch/larger tires.

I had my first off-road training day with it today and it performed like a champ. The weakest link in the chain was the nut behind the wheel.

Update #1

IPOR has done and or is working on the following:

ARB rear bumper
ARB roof rack with lights
ARB Simpson III RTT
ARB Awning
Rashta Skid Plate
ARB Compressor
Dual Batt's

Once again I have to say that I am more then happy with the performance and customer service that I have received from the IPOR guys. I would highly recommend them for any and all of your Off-Road work.

16 Years on ExPo. Whoa!!
Congrats... I also can't say enough about IPOR even from all the way here in Utah. Lance Williams is as top notch as they come, all the way back from 1999 or whatever...
