That is a idea. But I am trying to keep all weight under the top of the chassis. Don't want the CG getting any higher.
Thanks for posting it. I had not looked at that before.

Playing with the setup.

How much water ?
How much Gray Water storage ?

I'm looking at where to put it.

Going to use a composting toilet so no Black Water.

Will be used (for my Wife and I ) in North America .

Have her home to check the drawings to the truck.

I have 30 gallons water, could use more, but we use separate drinking water and don't shower much out if it which helps.

I have a 6 gallons jug under the sink for grey water. I like the set up! You have to remember to dump it, but no big tank, helps with tracking water use, and there always seems to be a food spot to dump it (fire pit, toilet etc) , so far anyway.

We are looking at 20 gal potable and about 50 “fresh” with 30 gray. Like you we will not have black water. If I can fit more fresh water capacity in it would be ideal but it is a tossup between an extra diesel tank or an extra water tank.

Bevan, I think I can get 48-50 gal of water into the chassis between the inside rails. This would be below the box bottom. Still looking for a low place for the gray ?

Have a place for 2 =7 gal L.P's and the 2K genset.

LP will be behind the the driver's front tire. On the trucks with a winch this is where the oil tank is of the pump. Will build a box for it.

Water can go between the frame rails above the rear drive shaft but below the box ahead of the rear axle.

Genset will be behind the battery box and may need to move the exhaust to the rear more ?
May also go to a much lighter muffler ?

Battery box will be reconfigured for 4 G31's . But will keep the 12 / 24 system.

I will have the drawings but not giving out the "How" LOL

Thanks for the great info. Don't understand your "How" point ... pretty much what these bulletin boards are for is sharing and discussing "How's" but to each his own.

On mine since am going with first axle in a 6x6 pair as my rear axle; the spot above the driveshaft wont work.... unless I strap two on.. one on each side but still inside the frame rail. This would leave a channel between for driveshaft. Course if tucked it back deeper in toward tranny would be less of an issue. hmmm. Like the location for LP tanks. am adding a fuel tank to mine.

Again thanks for info. Glad to see your working on her. Look forward to watching it progress.

Playing with the floor plan and door placement ? Will try to not remove any of the uprights but some will need to be moved and maybe added ? Going to go with the spray foam for the walls and roof, will be about 2" +-.

Love the "real" perspective the green tape gives ? Walls for the bath, the drop down shower pan in front of the door and the kitchen area.
You can see the hall way to the front bulk head that will be the pass-through to the truck cab. 24" x 24" but still working on the a air ride cab movement . Will be some kind of bellows. Cab falls backwards towards the box as it airs down. Maybe 3" +- ?

Uni grip has big bellows/gaskets. I'm happy with mine so far!

And yes tape makes a huge difference, we used tape, chairs and cardboard boxes. Really helped envision the space.

Door lock has a set of keys and the new headset's are here. Will have full intercom with cel and radio VHF/UHF.

Will pull the passenger side handle and have a key made if the one for the driver side will go into it.

Ready to re-install the door handle with a keyed lock. Also has a reinforced lever. The one that can brake if the door is not hung right.

Should have the passenger side back this afternoon. Will be weird to have to working door locks.
