Hey Nate, my wife and kids recognized you on the news up at Mt. Hood yesterday. You picked a great snow day to be up there. :victory:

Just got into Denver after a short drive from Salt Lake City. I was able to meet up with an old friend in SLC. I couldn't get a hold of her and actually accidentally walked into her at her job. It was nuts. I stayed a couple of days and we night skied at Brighten. The snow was awesome.

So tomorrow I am getting outside in the Front Range somewhere with some friends here in Denver. Should be a good time.

Heres a pic of my new "expedition rig." Its a soccer mom vehicle, but it holds all my stuff, I can sleep in it, and it cruises down the highway comfortably.

Hey, while you're down in the Denver area give my real dad a finger out the window for me. He's an ***, and I haven't heard from him since I was 9. 30 years later I still hate him for being a dead beat dad. I will never be anything like him!

Hijack off.

Nate, nice ride man. Get R' Dun!

OH, and you know we are due for video from you. :coffeedrink:

Walnut Shade, MO. Home again.

Insayn, I think Freddy just put a new video on YouTube.

Holy crap! You can cover some serious miles. :Wow1:

I just watched the video of Freddies. Looks like a great tribute to the expedition so far.

We can only hope you two great guys can mend up your differences along the way and put some more miles on the map. Even if you roll in seperate rigs, and maybe hit up different towns at different times. :smiley_drive:

Lets see that Nissan already! :coffeedrink:

Here is a link

If it is okay here is the link to the latest video. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I1Q-5S4cSY"]YouTube - FN' EXPEDITIONS WHAT A BLAST!!![/ame] If you want this gone I can remove it. It is really good and is quite a tribute to the folks you've met along the way. Best of luck on the rest of your trip.

Just watched the video.

How can two people go through this and not share a whole lotta love? In my experience, they can't. I have a hunch these two will be back on the road.

"Stay Tuned" was in the credits.

Gambling that we'll see more of Nate and Freddie.

Another idea to toss at you. Something I've considered doing myself. Fly into somewhere, say Colombia. Stay at a hostel for a week or two and find a local rig to buy and invite someone at the hostel to tag along. Head as far until the other person goes a different direction then find someone new. That will mix things up and avoid the hassle of shipping a vehicle.

Also, I've got an open seat as soon as I get my truck back on the road. :sombrero:

That sounds like a great idea. I am tossing up a few ideas right now. I plan on saving up some more dough and heading out. I do have a lot of options. It is all going to come down to timing.

So that last one Freddy made. I haven't talked to him still.

But the video is a good wrap up of all the awesome people we had meet along the way.

The more time I have spent at home the more I have learned about whats going on here. My family actually needs more help than I realized. Which just gives me more time to get back on my feet and make some good decisions about how I will travel next. I don't want to keep you all in suspense waiting for when I get back on the road. I will however keep posting pics and videos of stuff I do around here at home. I just might start different posts. I don't think random stuff I do around here belongs on this post.

When the time comes for me to start traveling again I can come back to this post. Or when developing things happen as far as this particular trip is concerned.

However, I do have a video for when I was in Denver. Although it wasn't going to be officially part of our Pan-Am adventure, it turned out to be part of mine in the end. So heres one more video for your viewing pleasure. I just think that if I do continue to have adventures around my hometown, I just shouldn't post them on this thread.

Nate,

Since you're back in the central region, I figure I'd let you know that the co-pilot seat in my truck is open if you feel like getting out. I'll be leading a trip from Hot Springs, AR to Clayton, OK next weekend. Three days, two nights.

Info here. No charge if you ride with me, of course.

It's the least I can do considering all the good reading you've provided. Holler if you're interested. I'd look forward to meeting you, plus you can share your journey with our group.

Wes
