A three bean burrito with extra triple cheese and washed it down with a gallon if gin?

Maybe that was too much! :chowtime:

Talk to Kevin - he can swap out the spacer so those coilovers become extended. He was kind enough to let me watch and snap a few pics when he rebuilt mine (which I will post a few of soon) and it's just a machined spacer that determines whether or not it is extended.

Pete

Ifyou've got a lathe then walla, extended coilovers! Just trim a bit off the spacer.
I used to have to sit there and turn normal coilovers into extended coilovers!
Sometimes I appreciate my desk job now. :smilies27

glad to hear of the good service your getting. about a year ago my roommate had the same problem and DR was very apologetic and quick to help, real stand up guys there. its tough to find companies that take good care of their customers like that anymore, but when you do you better stick with em.

Absolutely! DR now ICON has the best service I have even gotten from a company. Another great place was Country Hills Toyota in Calgary AB, they really helped me with my SC when nobody else would, great guys and great service.

I have thought about it :)

All that money into engine mods, and no way to get it to the ground...ah ha...hmmm. :D

These guys are out of Phoenix, build some sweet clean trucks. They did my buddy's Tundra.

yeah those guys do some killer KILLER work!, I just don't have the extra 25K laying around for the build. I wanted the extra power to help tow the trailer and move the truck when loaded. also get better mileage now too, well if I'm easy on the skinner pedal. :) It will also come in handy chasing my friends stock full class dodge in the baja 1000 this year.

You better get to work on that LT kit then. :D

You know I am just giving you a hard time on the engine mods, your truck is sick!

Thanks allot! its taken allot of time and money getting it this far. I have a soft spot for going fast on rough roads, so I kinda wanted the expedition truck / prerunner 4x4.

The next big mod will be the 4:56 gears in my garage and Soltek 4" lights for the ARB bumper. the custom gauge pod for the A pillar will be done this week sometime, it will be nice to have a few more gauges in the truck. Then my Lowrance Baja 540c will be permanently mount on the dash.

All building up for the 3 week overland trip to the baja 1000 and back.

.

Ever wondered what it cost to drop in the 5.7. Now that engine in the new Tacoma...that would be sweet.

Nope the first trip to Baja and first drive through the USA. I'm so looking forward to the drive! I've seen some great pictures and I'll be taking lots of pictures along the way. I'm doing everything possible to the truck to make the trip go well.
