Regarding the composite decking I think it's about 100 pounds. Could it be made with lighter material, absolutely. However I feel the looks and functionality is worth the trade off. Thanks for taking a look - cheers.

Purdy - I used ****** Adapters - Wa154 ; 5x4.5 to 5x150 OR Blank (6x5.5) to 5x150!

How long are the gas struts you are using to lift the lid? Awesome built by the way, better quality and ideas than any I've found!
