Nice looking truck. I love that lava red color! Did the 285's kill your mpg's?

Not too bad. I was averaging 17.5mpg a tank combined and I am getting about 16mpg now. It's a trade off. I drive the truck a lot for work and get reimbursed for milage, so it kind of evens out.

Great idea on the Unistrut nuts in the tracks. Did you use the 1-5/8" or 1-1/4" size?

In all honesty it was so long ago that I forget. They were the spring nuts I found at Home Depot. I used the ones for the larger 3/8" Bolts.

Thanks! I was on a marathon trip for work. Greenfield, NH to Searsburg, VT to Orange, MA, back to Greenfield.

Unfortunately, I wasn't in my truck. I was driving a silver X3 that a relative owns. She'd just flown back from Germany and needed someone to drive for her, and she didn't want to ride in the truck. Spent more time in the car than my brother's hooding.
