My guess is that it is the vertical support for the roof and the attachment support of the bulkhead between the cab & bed.

BTW Action Camper: Nice electronic modeling on your camper! what software did you use? Alias?

I was guessing the same, but I'd like to be sure. I work with SolidWorks. For me it combines a great technical solid modeler with a great surface modeler where solids can use surfaces as boundaries. For a normal presentation there is no need to use a separate renderer or animator. All this keeps the total process short. To make work easier I use a 3dconnexion 3D mouse. Of course taking time for the human figures would make things nicer looking, but soon we'll see reality.

It seems to me that the Brute is a better option for a number of reasons. For $2500 more you get the following:
a. Uses a lower cost donor vehicle
b. You get a longer bed
c. A donor vehicle with a better motor i.e. 4.0 liter
d. FWC has already designed a camper that fits in the Brute
e. If you want a low cost and reliable engine upgrade, you can get a 4.6 Stroker from Golen engine for about $3800. Drops right in, no fuss no muss. Smog legal in all 50 states.

I am starting to lose faith that Jeep will introduce a JK based pickup at all. The JK8 misses the mark for those who want a Jeep pickup as evidenced by the commentary here.

That conversion is cool, but real Jeep pickup trucks have a separate box.

I think they missed the boat, and I hope they offer a "real" pickup more like the brute in the future.
