Jeep Renegade and its competitors

I am impatiently waiting for a trailhawk to show up. We are looking at an upgrade for my wife.

Autoblog drove the Renegade at Moab recently. Their conclusion: Renegade is a real Jeep. Well, real enough to tackle simple trails hand-selected by Jeep to show off the Renegade Trailhawk.

^ my problem with these "tests" is exactly what you said. These trails are picked by jeep and really from watching the video I'm pretty sure any awd vehicle could of tackled that trail and even a fwd that you don't mind to bang up a bit.

We stopped by the Jeep display in Moab and took a look at the new Jeeps. I was shopping for something to replace the Wrangler I just sold- so took them up on their offer to let me test drive a new Wrangler Rubicon. While we were waiting our turn- I asked the gals what was the most popular vehicle for test drives, and they all said the Renegade -- buy far the big hit. Other than the concept Africa (cooler than cool)- the crowds seemed to be gathered around the Renegades.

Of course, looks like a star from the cartoon movie "cars"... Personnally, I would go for the Mini Countryman ALL4 in that category.

Drove one this weekend. Meh
It's nice, probably perfect for two.

Forester still seems like a better deal...

I've decided to wait for something better.
