Anyways,

It will be really interesting to see these vehicles in person next week in Moab and maybe even get to spend a little bit of time behind the wheel.

This years vehicles are interesting, but they really outdid themselves last year.

Some look like they just repainted some older concepts.

Flat Top, looks awfully close to Lower 40.

Believe Matt was referring to his write-up, not the photos, any who...

What are the massive tires they're using on those? I can't really see what's going on with these, because the shoes are sooooo big!

Kind of disappointed with the slim. I was expecting a factory stripped down 2 door at least (no hard top/full doors). But I really wanted to see a JK-5 type vehicle though. Shorter wheel base than the 2 door, not as wide, smaller tires...etc.

Great pin up fodder, they'll look good as a poster on the wall of your garage! A lot o bling and no substance, Sand tropper looks like it has portal axles, also its a rock crawler, that's what Easter thingy's all about! Hence the tootsie toy like tires. Jeep has left the utilitarian roots to an more affluent caricature for the elite!

Matt if your given the opportunity to ask questions, ask if there will a Utilitarian kind of jeep in the works. you know sans power windows, bed lined tub, D44s fore & aft 456 r&ps, solid steel wheels on 31/32 skinnies, HD trans, half doors, etc. A Jeep for the peasants, er..... people.

Thanks,
Carlo

Amen - my son was astounded the other day when I told him that up until a few years ago the stock jeep came without radio, a/c, rear seat, etc... his words exactly... "huh, a REAL jeep" :)
