JK Information

My son has a 07 Wrangler JK, and has a cracked spare tire holder. I am looking for a replacement that will bolt up to the original holes on the gate until he can get a rear bumper/tire carrier. Being a Rover guy, I am not well versed in what is out there for Jeeps. Does anyone know of someone that makes a better replacement than the plastic carrier that came on it? Thanks for any help in advance.

Did he get hit or could this be a warranty issue. Also I would just look for someone that has pulled there's off to add a new bumper. Post up a wanted on either of these forums www.jkowners.com or www.jk-forum.com. You should be able to get one for cheap.

i have a factory tire carrier for sale. it came off my 2009 Jeep Wrangler. i had it on the jeep for about a month before i removed it for the new bumper with carrier. the factory tire carrier looks new

$40+ shipping. its pretty light, just large.

Bigger tires are pulling the rivets through the tailgate on many JK's --- some dealers cover it under warranty.
