After our trip to Cloudcroft I focused a little more attention on the Atlas build out and managed to build out a battery box and electrical panel. I am running a Renogy 200Ah lithium battery being charged by the RedArc Alpha 50. This by far has been a great switch from the portable power stations as it charges quicker, more efficient and of course the extra capacity is an added bonus.

At this stage I was just waiting on the weather to warm up so that I could seal the wood give it a coat of bed liner to match the rest of the cabinetry and I can get this all installed and wired up.

A little progress made today! Removed all the cabinetry for a fresh coat of bedliner and coated the new additions. While the bed liner cures for the week I need to tidy up some loose ends and then I can get it all back in.

I also decided to install the sides of a bed rug kit for a layer of insulation in the truck bed.

Once the bedliner cured I began installing everything again.

The new electrical panel for the house battery.

Mockup of the battery box. I installed 2 thermostat-controlled fans for the battery box, a pusher and a puller, since it is such a small enclosure to keep plenty of air flow around the battery and components.

The battery box lid is also removable with 4 10-24 screws for easy access.

I also fabbed up a QD water outlet at the rear of the truck.

As well as mounted a 1000w inverter and remote beside the fridge.

It's safe to say that without going up, I have pretty much maxed out what little bit of room I had to work with and have utilized all the nooks and cranny's I could.

Well, I finally got up the nerve to drill some extra holes in my roof and got the SOB Fabrication roof rack installed. Really like how it smooths out the transition to the AT Atlas.

Made it out to the 19th Annual Toyota Jamboree in Gilmer, Texas this past weekend. Snapped this picture while I was out there.

Just got the New Holland Overland angled Maxtrax mount mounted to the SOB roof rack. Really liking how it turned out and it really ties the topper into the cab of the truck.18.jpg
