Just a little T6 (M100) trailer

Just thought I would post some of my build pics on here since I have been lurking around for ideas on here for the past couple years. It is a 1946 T6 1/4 ton military trailer, thats what the title says anyway. I had a bunch of friends help me fabricate my ideas into reality so thanks to everyone who helped me out so far. Its road worthy but I still have a few more things to put on it, never, never never never ending!

Made the original fenders wider with just a butt weld. It turned out ok. Sanded it down to the bare metal with a palm sander as best as I could.I added a piece of pip for my stabilizers to jam up into on each corner under the side-steps. I got the tongue length worked out. I can extend it approx. 4ft if I want as well. The rear bumper came out nicely.

I can't deal with the rotation of the photos right now, sorry. I brought the trailer in to get LineX'd. I sprayed the tongue and inside of the lid myself. The rest of the trailer was LIneX'd. It turned out well and hid some imperfections. My only concern is if the LineX shop did a good job putting the primer on. Time will tell.

Turned out pretty nice. I want to add a 20gallon aluminum water tank above the axle yet. I need to fab something up so that my RTT vestibules can work on the side the awning is on. I want to run a propane line to the back of the trailer yet. I have the tongue box full with 2 marine batteries and a charger. The pure sine inverter is in the mail. I have to find a good spot to store the stabilizer screw jacks. I used 2 250# gas struts to assist me opening the lid. I have 3/8 gaskets all the way around the upper side of the lid. So far its been dust free after a 3 week camp trip we just took.

My leaf springs are flat and even slightly on the "frowny" side. Does anyone have some tips how I can have proper suspension? I have new 10 ply leaf springs coming but I am not sure those will work, although the ones I have now are 70 years old. I have to put some shocks on and I may go to a conventional shackle system and get rid of the C-shackles. I have the original upper shock mount bolted in. Not sure how to find 2 3/8" spring plates w/ shock mount studs attached, might have to fab something up. Any suggestions are appreciated on how and what to use to get suspension dialed in.
Again, sorry about the rotated pics, I can't figure it out at this hour.
