Just another Jeep

Good news, the engine oil pressure is beautiful. Falls right into spec using a testing gauge. The gauge cluster test worked as well. Now to chase the wires and figure out where the short is.

Taking advantage of record breaking warm weather, I've been able to get a lot done. Over the last couple days I got the rear brakes rebuilt and bled and a bunch of other small maintenance items addressed. Today I was able to drive it around the block for the first time in many months. The checklist has been updated, and it's not quite ready for the road. But it's so much closer than it's been in a very long time.

It's been a long time getting this beast going. Never ending project. But at least I'm to a point where I can drive it.
I finally got rid of all the JL rims and adaptors on both jeeps.

While these steelies may not be the most attractive wheels, they are inexpensive and easy to repair. They allow me to run 17" tires, which are a lot easier to come by and better on the budget.

After R&C i took it out and got the oil changed and put some miles on it. I'm falling back in love with this thing. Getting used to the lockers ratcheting at every turn, but I'm sure the payoff will be next time I take it off road.

Still more to do, but at least I get to drive it now.
