Update:
So i had ordered the new driver's side camshaft seal from a local dealer, but it wouldn't come in for almost two weeks. In the meantime, since I needed to get to work, I JB welded the crap out of the old one. When the new one came in, I hadn't had any leaks or problems with the old one so I have left it on. Next time I need to do the timing belt or something I will take the old one off. That thing is a HUGE pain in the *** to get on and off. Took about a hour each way due to the maybe .5mm of clearance there is back there, if that. It has to be twisted in just the right way. FYI for anyone with a 2001 like me, our trucks are special, and have the camshaft sensor on that rear cam cover. O-rings are not supposed to be on it, just silicone. Stupid, stupid design...
Also, got new tires for the truck a couple weeks ago, and changed all the brake pads last week as well. Installed a hitch the other week, which was an adcevture all in itself. I ended up cross threading one of the weldnuts in the frame, and had to rent a tap and die set from autozone. Ended up managing to get it correctly re-threaded, and the lcoktite'ed the crap out of the bolt. Now i just need to wire up the trailer light harness. Its probably due for another oil change as well, in addition to diff fluids (which I should have just done when i bought it, o well.)
