Just finished a conversion on a G63, only Portal axle G63 in the country!

I agree about installing the wider flares. I didn't install them and took a trip. 10 miles of mud and I had zero visibility thru the side windows and rear view mirrors. I went thru half a tank of windshield washer fluid just to maintain forward visibility. 2 hours to wash the vehicle. I'll be taking Ilian's advice and do some good mud flaps as well. Here is a pic.

All good points on the flares, makes sense, especially with the mud! I don't need to worry too much about mud in Las Vegas though! Like I said I have the other flares ready to go, in the end it will be up to the new owner.

I need about two to three weeks to get the parts from Germany after receiving a deposit, once I have the parts on hand and the vehicle is dropped off about a week to complete and test all systems.
