Just got my rig back from Armorology...Dial-up beware

Armorology comes heavily recommended on both the COTTORA boards and the CO4x4.org boards. Considering the number of fabricators in the front range area, I think that's significant.

I actually emailed Jed a couple of weeks ago regarding a new front bumper for my Taco. His estimate came in around $900. That's w/o a winch cradle and with a 2" receiver, and no hoops (just a bumper.) Pretty steep, but as they say, you get what you pay for. I was impressed that he got back to me so fast, he probably gets hundreds of inquiries a week and I'd bet 99% of the people never go through with the order just because of the price.

Johnny, I'm more curious about weight than I am about price. What is the weight difference between that setup and the stock bumper? What kind of suspension are you using?

Gotta love armorology. Jed does very nice work. I live about 2 miles from the shop so I get to see a lot of their stuff. You 4runner looks great. It is going to be even more amazing with some more appropriate tires and a lift. My girlfriend is drooling.

Man those bumper look great. I love the look of the front, I might have to keep this in mind when (if) I ever get a winch. Nice job.
