Found the site from another LR site and is really really cool so I signed on. I have a bone stock 97 D1 but will be adding a lift (fingers crossed) in the spring or put on other goodies first. Don't know if I should lift first then add to it. I have found a semi-local LR club to actually use it off road :victory:

Before changing the springs, I would recommend that you estimate what your finished load will be, i.e. water, fridge, bumpers, winch, occupants, etc. That will allow you to better select the proper spring rate. The spring length is an easier one, as that is simply the height increase you want. Choosing a spring is a combination of length and rate.
