Nice truck! Are they 14.00R20 tyres? I've only seen one Tatra up close which was a tour bus, very heavy looking wheel attachment and chassis!

I think this is the same as a MAN Kat 1, the rear axles have a diff in the flattened "pumpkin", but not between the axles. I wonder why the Tatra does? Super tight turning circle I wonder?
Also a bit O/T, in comparing an old but cheap and thirsty truck to a nice almost new expensive but efficient truck, I worked out that they ended up with the same total expenditure at about 100K miles. Not including Adblue, future concerns about Euro 1 being banned etc etc.

Yes pondering the Diesel chill that is now going on. I would love a bunch of electric Tatra's and Unimogs but we are not quite there. Whole 'nother conversation...that adblue hardware makes my head hurt. The Tatra (I am reasonably certain) is different in the fact it has independent axles (or 'half axles') I'm running 16.00 R21 Goodyear AT2A and using tubes because wheels CTIS is set up that way (original wheels)....original tires are 15.00 21 bias ply with tubes.
