KC HiLiTES NEW Gravity JK LED Fog Lights

I received these lights a few weeks back and I've finally found time to share with everyone. The new KC HiLiTES LED fog lights are street legal are quite a bit brighter and whiter than stock. KC offers a JK factory mount that bolts right up with zero modifications, and they also offer a universal mount. I chose to do the factory mount due to the Poison Spyder bumper having factory mounting option. The lights also come with two different harnesses to work with your proper year of Jeep. One is plug and play and the other is splice two wires and solder together. I had to solder mine, but it took all of 2 minutes per light so it wasn't concern.

I have nothing negative to say about these lights and I am glad I did the upgrade. If I was going to complain about something, it would be that the fog lights sit back about 1.5" from front of bumper. Due to the lights being further back, I do lose some width and cut of lines.

Nice, but......

Very nice. Curious if you have had a chance to use them in foggy conditions. Would like to see some comparisons there!

Is that more of a function of bumper design or the fog lights themselves?

Also did you get any flickering with them?

Off topic, but how do you like that winch? Have you had a chance to really put it to use yet?

To stay on topic, I do like the looks of those lights.

Haven't looks and should but what is the cost of these? I am looking for lights to replace my broken factory fogs. Have been thinking of going Ridgid duallies thus far.

Zero flickering and its the design of bumper that keeps light back so far. Has nothing to do with the KCs

I had the Duallys prior to these and what a mistake. Yes they are bright as hell but at same time you never really turn on because they aren't street legal and you just piss people off. It's nice to have a super bright street legal fog light again and I use every time it's dark now.

Price for these is around $240 a set or so depending on site and site coupons

Yes, I agree, they are a MUCH better option than rigid.

Does anyone know how many manufacturers there are of these? The KC's in assuming are made by Peterson like their headlights, there's truck lites, JWS and now I see quadratec make a self branded version. I had the KC headlights and liked them just fine but upgraded to JWS. I will not be spending the coin for their fogs though, they won't be getting any more of my money no matter how good they are. Any idea who makes the quadratec fogs? As little as I use fogs I'd like to go cheap, either KC or the cheaper quadratec.

Maxxima makes the Q-Tec stuff. It's a step down in quality from Trucklite, two steps down from Peterson, and 3 steps down from JW Speaker.
People seem to like it though. Time will tell, of course.
