Tucson T4R, where was that picture taken? Mount Lemmon...Mt Bigelow....near the radio towers...perhaps?...or am I totally wrong?

Your good. :victory: Yes, it's a spur road off the Bigelow road that drops down and out to a pass right over the ranger station. On a topo, it ends at Boy Scout Spring. Sweet spot.

Bump for another Devil Dog

I've lurked around here for a little while now.. but remember barting goods with SgtGrunt a few years ago.. He was kind enough to drop of a set of wheels in Vegas and I later mailed him some new digital cami uniforms after coming back from deployment. Good guy.

This things is sweet and I'd love to have something like this one day.. Does anyone know if tent trailers qualify for those home loan financing deals that I see the RV sales place down the street advertise? I can't believe it's been on here this long and no one has snapped it up.. it definitely doesn't help though the way the economy has been of late.. but it still is a great deal to be had.

Best of luck, Eric @ Pendleton

I think that the IRS would like you to have a bathroom or some such thing to qualify the camper as a second home. May popup tent trailers have this but the KK may be a stretch but worth looking into!

Gunship!!!! Is it Capt. Gunship???? You would most definitely get the Jarhead discount...

It's been a long time since I've heard from you... Hope all is well.

Good to hear from you SGT! All is well on my end as we're expecting another little one in less than a month :roost:

I'll be home for a couple of years before deploying again and look forward to taking the family on a few camping trips.

It's a beautiful trailer you got. Best of luck with the sale!

Sgt. Grunt,
Does your kk have the add a room off the driver side rear?

Thanks

Oh and do you have any more photographs. I keep  over your trailer. We need some more action shots to keep this thread interesting. I can't believe this trailer is still available!

Brad,

Thanks again!!!!! If you make it to Colorado, dinner will be on me... :jump:

Gear, I do not have the room that goes on the drivers side, just the one that is inside the main awning. However all parts are available from KK.

BTW, with the zipper attachment around that back door, you can either add the small shower/bathroom enclosure, as I did, or a larger "kids room" addition. They both attach via the same zipper around the driver side door (back door).

For those with inquiring minds, with their pen quivering over their check book in anticipation of future KK adventures.:hehe:

"Kids Room" is what I was thinking of. Our last beach camping trip the wife said the Overland tent on the Chaser was just getting to small for the 4 of us. When the wife gets back in town I am going to sit her down and show her this KK. It is a long shot, but something I definitely like thinking about.

This link shows the zip on kids room.

The difference is the picture is on a model with back wall tilted in. Darryl's is the extended canvas model with the rear wall leaning out to give you more room inside. But the picture gives you the idea anyway.
