Good, you got the expanded tent option...that makes a big difference in the usable space inside. Looks great!

You know one of the really cool things about this forum is the ability to post larger jpg's (hint hint) :)

I am also trying to decide if the 80 will be a happy tow vehicle or not...
Darryl,

I saw you had your FJ80 up for sale, what makes you think it is not a good tow vehicle? I am trying to understand a few things as I just bought a KK myself :D

I was curious as well. I tow mine with a 2004 4Runner and I have had no problems even in some pretty rugged steep areas.

What do you invision as the perfect tow rig?

Mr. Vince, Thanks, great to hear from you!!! We had a great time chating with you at SnT. We won't make it this year, but we will be locked in for next year...

Guys, as far as the 80 for a tow rig... with my M416, at about 1500 lbs, no sweat... with the KK at 2300 lbs (dry) the auto tranny is somewhat prone to working to hard, and the supercharged engine runs very warm and even more so on days over 75 degrees. Not to mention the dreaded MPG!!! and the fact that I live at 5000 feet and tend to go up everytime I load up to go camping, average camp site is 8500 feet. So I think it will tow ok going down hill, empty, with a tail wind and in the middle of winter!!! :wings: At any rate, it should do ok driving 55 to 65 MPH flat. My 80 weighs in at 7100 loaded plus 3000 for the KK loaded... :cow:
