We did a quick shakedown trip to a local campground and will do another one in the SoCal desert just before Thanksgiving. We're planning a three week trip to Baja over Christmas and want to work out as much as we can before we head south.

Todd rig looks bad ********. How much ground clearance you got on the bad boy. Size matters when your talking ground clearance. Love the black and gray. Did you camp at potato creek in IN? Stayed there in the middle of winter when i went to NY to pick up my trailer. Had the place to myself and did a snow fat bike ride on a single track trail. I am excited for you.

I'm not sure how much clearance I have. I guess I'll have to measure that. It's tall though. The hitch height is 24". Once it was ready, I rolled out of IN since I had to get west.

Any updates on the trailer? Curious if you have had any issues or anything you would change if you built it again? I am looking for a true four season off road trailer around the 20’ mark, this looks like a top contender.

Hey Eric93k. I actually just got it back from Jamin. I had a couple Scirocco fans installed by the bed windows and I had a MaxxAir deluxe fan installed in the roof. It's been working well for us so far. We recently did a five week trip to Idaho/Montana/Wyoming and it was a good base camp.

If I were building it again, I'd put a roof fan in the bathroom as well. I'd also go with a portable induction cooktop (we went with propane). We don't cook inside that often so having the extra counter space would be nice. I installed a rear camera + TPMS system and that is something I'd put on any trailer in the future. Our Dometic fridge died on us mid-trip. Luckily, the freezer was still working and I had a smaller Dometic in the truck, so we worked through it. That wasn't on Jamin and he worked with Dometic for us and got a warranty replacement and he installed it when we had the work for the fans done.

The box is 16 feet and I think we're at 22ish feet overall. For a smaller trailer, it actually has plenty of storage space and it tows really well.
