Kokopelli Trail adventure on May 26-27, 2011

Explored the Kokopelli Trail and adjacent spur 4x4 trails from Rabbit Valley, CO to the Cisco Wash area in Utah on May 26-27, 2011 in my 97 Disco. Great weather, great scenery, and abundant wildflowers both days. Saw a few other 4x4 trucks but no bicycles which surprised me.

Awesome trip!!
Kokopelli's Trail was my first true backcountry 4x4 journey last year and it is such a unique route. It is great to see the way the landscape and scenery changes as you go along.

I was very lucky with the weather. We had the same crummy sandstorm/duststorm in SW Colorado. Blew down a big branch off my silvermaple in my front yard. Glad I went home when I did.

Yes, it is not a tough trail barring flash floods/mud.

Went by yourself? I used to do that, but one break down, a long walk out and a very large recovery bill has convinced me to not do solo trips any more.
