KTM kick stand blues

Well, it finally happened to me too. My 04 450 EXC kick stand failed.
Recently, leaning it on the stand to oil the chain, the bolt snapped. So now I'm officially looking for a better kick stand.

I think I should be able to bolt on a Pro Moto Billet or Trail Tech as a lot of others have after the ktm part failed. Any experience with these?
I'd also like to consider a 2 legged center stand if anyone knows of an option for such a tall bike.

ProMoto Billet is the way to go, I've ran them on several KTM's now and they are rock solid!

Bummer. If you think the KTM kickstand is bad, you should see my TE630 kickstand. The most bizarre piece of engineering I have every seen, and it tries to kill you too.

I have a trail tech. I tried to re-weld the factory one woth no luck. So far so good

Scott - I can't imagine how anything could be as bad as mine was; had to park it in gear and only extend partially or lean it on something as tall as a curb.

Any wisdom on installation without drilling out the broken bolt in my frame? I'll post a pic as soon as I can.
