Yes, very interested and may purchase. As per the dual-filler neck is this a sourced Toyota OEM part? Additionally, can you provide some detail on the transfer pump mechanism? Specifically, how is it triggered?

The dual filler neck is manufactured by Front Runner as is the tank. The transfer pump is controlled by a dash mounted switch.

The fuel transfer is done through the dual filler neck so if the pump accidentally stays on too long the over flow will flow back into the main tank avoiding any spills plus there's no need to mess with the OEM breather lines, etc.

Dave, thinking the same thing just want to check. I ask on the switch as my FZJ80 had (so lucky) a nice OEM aux tank switch (minus aux tank!) when purchased and would like to employ that, don't know if it is a continual switch or momentary.

I have the OEM sub tank switch. It's continuous. I wired mine using George's little circuit brain and the OEM overhead console with fuel gauge. George's circuit brain is billiant - it senses when the aux tank sending unit is empty and automatically shuts off the transfer pump - and it's only $25.

So as I'm a neophyte to the aux tank here, the Toyota dual filler had a valve handle, looks like this one you just literally shove the nozzle down one throat vs. the other?

Does the FrontRunner 80 series tank have a cutout hole for the OEM sending unit for hooking up to a gauge?

There's no cutout for a sending unit. Once you have filled your factory tank twice from the auxiliary tank you know it's time to fill both of them up :)

There's no valve on the filler neck, you just fill both tanks until they are both full. This is what ensures there is no spillage, if either tank is overflowing the fuel will go through the filler neck into the other tank.

So do you lose ground clearance w/ this tank? Got pics of this installed on an 80?

you do loose a little clearance, but the tank is very well designed and as tucked up as possible. If you have your spare down there the tank might actually sit higher, depending on the size of the spare of course :)

Do you have to aim the fuel nozzle at one tank, fill it, then pull the nozzle out a little and fill the other tank? If so, my LRA tank filler is similar. The only bugger is some nozzles are short and require me to hold it in place it till each tank is filled.

The other bugger is the flapper is required in CA to pass smog. Some techs look passed it. It's from back in the days to prevent people from using leaded fuel in their unleaded vehicle as leaded fuel was cheaper. Of course, they had to remove their cats to run the leaded fuel too.

I'm currently looking for an OEM filler neck...

Great deal on the aux tank though!
