So, lets see your pics from the event.
Overall, I thought the 2009 events was a great effort, and several things stood out.
1. The Solihull Society is one of the finest clubs I have interacted with. A strong sense of community and Tread Lightly is practiced by nearly all members. A well traveled group.
2. Lots of families in attendance. As the more extreme trucks and trails fade from the venue, I am seeing more families attending. Short of the Overland Expo, this was the best family showing I have seen.
3. The mix of trucks is changing - quickly. Many more LR3s than I expected, and the grey market 110s and 130s are now a show of force. There were probably 15+ grey market Defenders at the event, most were diesel. There was six of them on Thursdays Tin Cup run.
Here is a shot from Nick Taylor, the night we ate at Doc's
Here are a few pictures from Tin Cup and Hankock. I will post vendor night images ASAP.
Nick Taylors D-90 RHD, 300TDI
Nice SIII that participated in the old Border to Border events.

Nice picture Nathan! The Defender is just an incredible truck. A joy to drive.
