This link shows the works of Polish landscape photographer Boguslaw Stempel. To me, the most interesting are the exposures made looking down from mountainsides as sunlight reaches the forested terrain below.

There are so many like this, is that a filter of some sort?

The dark and light lines are created by sunlight passing though lines of trees on the ridge tops as the sun rises. The hazy effect is caused by mist near the ground. The photographer might be using a split or graduated neutral density filter, or multiple exposures combined in post processing to allow for higher dynamic range.

Awww this is great photography i like this actually the two kind of photography is some difficult one of Landscape and portraite photography because you have to make a good grip of your camera to take this type of photography so i think this is the some difficulty for the non professional photographer not for a professional photographer...
