Late 2023: Are most portable power stations fairly comparable?

I'm going to pull the trigger on a ~ 500Wh portable power station during Black Friday deals. Seems LifePO4 has made it's way into most major brands.

Given my pretty basic power needs, is it safe to assume most of the known names are comparable these days? My plan is to find the best deal on a Jackery, Bluetti, Anker, etc and snag one.

snag away 500 Wh isn't that big, so probably most the the recognized "brands" are fairly similar. I would probably lean toward the Bluetti EB55 in the 500wh price range if I didn't already have a DIY 1800Wh Li-ion. Pass thru charging is an important feature, not sure they all have this. Easy expansion would be nice as well.

Thanks, I think I will upgrade to a 1000 Wh unit for the extra $300 or so. Bluetti AC180 seems to be leading my very basic research so far.

If you are going to jump up in cost, I would look for whatever model has the capability to easily add an expansion battery.
