Okay, so the source I found for a lift kit seemed a tad sketchy with his payment options. Might be nothing, but I'd rather not risk it. So we've decided on a custom fab'd 2" lift that we're gonna do ourselves, and even decided on a tire!

Those tires have max load rating of 615lbs. According to the net, a Justy weighs just under 2,000lbs. Add in a driver and passenger and equipment and you are over the max of the tires.

The ones I was looking at, on the manufacturer's website says a load of a little over 800lbs... where is your info from if I may ask?

I saw it on their site. They list the 23" tire as a 6 ply, while all others are 10 ply. https://www.gbcmotorsports.com/products/kanati-mongrel

That's weird... every place that has it for sale, including walmart, advertise this size as a 10 ply tire. Looks like I'll have to make some phone calls

After some phone calls, it turns out the 10 ply tire in that size is a new thing. Tires ordered, and on the way!

Update!
Finally got around to fabricating the lift kit. Spacers installed and ready to rock!
Also got around to getting the tires squared away.

how much more do those tires weight vs the stockers? i was going to get some heavy duty tires for our little car but the original bfg ko's were literally twice teh weight as the studless snow tires we were using so i stuck with them. wasnt willing to give up the hp to turn those meaty things

Bfg's are a good tire though. What you loose in lightness you gain in toughness! I'm not really sure how much more these tire's weigh, but they're not much more. They're designed for utility's and side by sides, with a dot rating. Thankfully the gvrw of the car just fits the weight rating!
I think the big tire's are gonna be a seldom thing though, we have a good set of "road tires" on another set of rims that will get us TO the trail. I don't think they'll wear too too well on pavement unfortunately

Wound up being a lot more trimming than anticipated.... thankfully We were able to still use the plastic flares to hide a good about of our bending and grinding haha
Also wound up taking care of the alignment myself today.
Aparently on this car there is no way to adjust for caster and camber. The shop with the lazer guided alignment rack told me the rear tow was out nearly 3 degrees lol.
Thankfully, we still had plenty of adjustment in the trailing arms to take up the slack.
Got it back to a relative straightness with a 2x4 and a good eye. Drives nice and straight and a LOT less squirrelly. Got some events coming up, can't wait to see how this thing does!
